**Job Summary**

We are transforming our HR function and are now looking for great people to integrate in our new international HR Service Delivery Team, closely aligned with our Global Business Services organization. This represents a fantastic opportunity to join us at a key execution stage of the programme to lead the implementation and improvement of this critical component of our new function.

As HR Payroll Service Delivery Lead you will implement, optimize, direct, manage and continuously improve the delivery of Payroll and Time and Absence services to the Convatec enterprise.

Leading an international team of delivery experts, you will be accountable for leading the successful delivery of Payroll services to Convatec.

You will be a key member of the Service Delivery Leadership Team and will work with your colleagues in HR and beyond to define, organize and deliver Payroll services to support our people agenda.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Building and leading an international team of Payroll Service Delivery experts in our network of Delivery centres.
- Leading the delivery of Payroll services in a compliant and consistent manner, adhering to, and demonstrating compliance with key controls.
- Engaging with, listening to and challenging (where necessary) our key stakeholders to ensure that high quality payroll services are delivered in a way that remains relevant and complimentary to our people agenda.
- Building, refining and reviewing key performance indicators for payroll service delivery, identifying unacceptable performance and working with your team to identify and implement timely improvements.
- Day to day management of our global payroll vendors to ensure service delivery in line with their contractual obligations.
- With the Total Rewards Expertise Delivery team, drive continuous improvement for the payroll service function, using service performance analytics, feedback and external best practice to develop and improve the service, including looking for opportunities to streamline and automate key services in a way that improves efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work with the GBS delivery team to identify, exploit and improve opportunities to develop cross-functional processes and solutions with other represented functions (Finance and IT), including troubleshooting systemic issues affecting the end to end payroll process.

The role will be based in either Lisbon, Portugal or Bogota, Colombia and will work closely with other HR Service Delivery Leads, Total Reward Expertise Delivery teams, HR Business Partners and Senior People Partners to direct, shape and improve delivery of services.

You will be able to balance tactical delivery of payroll services with an understanding and appreciation of the wider Service Delivery ambition and a keen appreciation of the key part that Payroll Service Delivery plays within the HR Operating Model.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Implementing, Testing and Stabilising Payroll Service Delivery
- Lead the recruitment, induction, training and service testing of our new payroll team
- Accountability for the build of payroll detailed processes (Local Work Instructions), technology and collateral (through Knowledge Transfer) to mobilise the payroll service delivery team
- Work with wider stakeholders to stabilise the payroll service, as measured by delivery of payroll service levels at agreed and acceptable levels
- Build and deliver a programme of service take-on for payroll activities that are suitable for delivery in a shared services environment
- Align global payroll provider processes with revised arrangements as part of transition to new services
