Reporting to our People Manager, the People Specialist will support and facilitate projects across the employee lifecycle and in HR operations.
**What you'll do**:
- Partner with the People Manager to develop and implement processes to build and nurture a world-class team globally
- Partner closely with Finance to ensure accurate and timely Portugal payroll processing while engaging in ad-hoc projects as needed
- Facilitate global hiring process across the company as needed including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding activities
- Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to make Fidel API a great place to work
- Proactively communicate people-related issues to all employees while continuously gathering feedback to improve processes
- Use a data-driven approach in project execution to derive valuable insights and enhance decision making
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of all people data within our HRIS to ensure the highest level of data integrity and accuracy
- Support the People team with ad hoc projects that move business objectives forward
**We want you, if you have**:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in HR/People or related fields
- In-depth knowledge on Portugal employment law, regulations, and processes
- Strong analytical and data skills, with a demonstrated ability to work comfortably with numerical data and solve problems using data-driven methodologies
- Proven planning and organisational skills, with a keen eye for details and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work on your own initiative, be flexible, adaptable and open to change
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
- A passion for creating a positive and productive work environment for all employees
