**Global **HR **Lead**/Local HR Lead Portugal** (100%).**

In this newly created role, you are on a mission to build world-class people operations for HeiQ and will report directly to the CFO.

**Your responsibilities**:
Global Responsibilities
- Managing the regional HR administrators
- Designing and owning HR strategy for the global group
- Developing and implementing global HR policies and ensuring policies are up to date
- Owning and continuously improving global People Operations processes
- Compiling reports on employee data as needed as well as owning the global personnel cost budget
- Organizing and driving annual activities such as the performance or compensation review process, well-being, remuneration, culture and engagement, and other HR related work streams
- Owning the global recruitment process
- Identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions to address the needs of a growing organization
- Acting as HR SME on projects such as M&A and restructuring

Local Responsibilities (Portugal)
- Managing all HR administration matters in Portugal, including payroll & benefits management
- Maintaining employee files & other employee related documentation in our HR management system to ensure records are up to date and compliant
- Acting as the point of contact for our employees on questions linked to HR services
- Owning the recruitment processes for open vacancies in Portugal, creating work contracts, and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees

- Fully professionally proficient in English (mandatory for all employees working at HeiQ - additional languages are advantageous)

**You bring**:

- A Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent.
- Experience owning all HR matters in an international company
- Experience acting as a business partner and collaborating with business teams spread across multiple geographies
- Knowledge and experience with Portuguese employment and labor laws.
- Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up
- A winning attitude, sense of ownership, and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
