Join our team as a **Data Governance Specialist **(Hybrid - Lisbon)

**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Establish a data governance framework, including roles, responsibilities, and decision rights.
- Define and monitor data quality metrics.
- Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure data is consistent, accurate, and reliable across the organization.
- Identify and appoint data stewards in various business units.
- Collaborate with data stewards to enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Provide training and support to data stewards on data governance practices.
- Ensure data governance policies comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate data governance risks.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related areas.
- Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data quality management, data stewardship, and data lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to data governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with data management and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of database management systems, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
- Certifications (preferred): Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP); Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP); Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP).
