Learning Management System Administrator

ValGenesis is looking for an LMS Administrator to join our Team. In this role, your focus will be administering our Learning Management System, which is Docebo, and supporting our customer, partner, and employee training programs. You will work cross-functionally with other departments to enroll and manage users throughout the learning cycle. You’ll also create and oversee reporting around key learning metrics for leadership and other stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**

**Day to Day Administration**
- Track learners from contract closure to adding them to the University.
- Add users with the appropriate configuration at the proper time, working with our Partner, Customer, and Internal managers.
- Enroll users in the appropriate courses and ensure they can successfully log in.
- Add catalogs, subscriptions, and other structures as needed.
- Educate internal and external users on how to use the LMS.
- Answer questions from learners and prospective learners.
- Manage live training in the LMS and coordinate with trainers and customers.

**Process**
- Manage the process for adding/updating users, content, learning plans, courses, subscriptions, and other features.
- Assist instructional designers with uploading and verifying content.
- Maintain LMS policies and standards for course and configuration management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the LMS vendor and interact with our Technology manager to support users, troubleshoot problems, and resolve issues.
- Set up and support Power Users.
- Perform quality checks to ensure standards are followed and the user experience is as planned.

**Analysis**
- Watch monthly update webinars from the vendor and determine if we need to use or modify how we use features.
- Configure system settings and test as needed.
- Be an expert on the LMS platform.
- Create and maintain How-to documentation for functions of the LMS.
- Identify methods to improve employee productivity and growth through the LMS.
- Run reports and analyze LMS usage, ensuring subscriptions end as planned and subscriptions that are ending are communicated to the learners.
- Make recommendations for process and utilization improvements.
- Collaborate with and advise key stakeholders on their reporting, content, and general LMS-related needs.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years relevant experience (proven work experience in similar roles).
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems.
- Understanding of how LMS systems work.
- Critical thinking skills to help troubleshoot and test issues or requirements.
- Fluent in English with the ability to edit and correct grammar, spelling, etc.
- A second language is a plus.
- Acute attention to detail and high standards for quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
- Have an understanding of business needs in regards to organizing training.
- Ability to wear many hats and maintain multiple concurrent tasks.
- Ability to self-direct and be effective in working independently.
- Ability to adapt according to changing business needs.
- Experience working in an international environment
- An understanding of the B2B environment, specifically partners, and customer education.

Our Lisbon office is hybrid. We believe that in-person interaction and collaboration fosters creativity, and a sense of community, and is critical to our future success as a company. Our hybrid schedule is 3 days per week, within a reasonable commuting distance to our Lisbon office.
