Job Description
The IT Domain Expert is responsible for supporting, implementing, and engineering infrastructure and applications. This role ensures system reliability, evaluates risks, and manages the full lifecycle of IT solutions, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Act as the primary reference for a specific IT domain and own the solution lifecycle (design, integration, industrialization, and maintenance).
- Manage incidents, requests, and changes using ITSM tools, ensuring compliance with SLAs and IT best practices.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications, applying security standards and operational guidelines.
- Support release management and testing, preparing environments and ensuring smooth deployments.
- Strong technical knowledge in:
- Databases: SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, Postgres, Sybase)
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux/RHEL, UNIX/AIX
- File Transfer: CFT, MQ, FTP/SFTP, PeSIT
- Automation & Monitoring: Batch, Autosys, Ansible, Dynatrace, DevOps/SecDevOps
- Networking & Security: LAN, VPN, LDAP, Active Directory, TLS/SSL, SSH, PKI
- Cloud & Infrastructure: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, VM, Firewall, Load Balancer
- Service Management Tools: ServiceNow, JIRA, ITSM
