What you'll be doing
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join Host Wise's fast-growing Operations team, with a strong focus on Maintenance Management.
This is a high-impact role for a hands-on yet strategic professional, with strong technical awareness, analytical thinking and leadership skills, who thrives in a fast-paced and operationally complex environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the macro management, supervision and continuous improvement of our maintenance operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control and operational excellence across our property portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping maintenance strategy, optimizing processes and supporting the scalability of Host Wise's operations.
Lead and oversee Maintenance Operations, managing teams, priorities, capacity planning and performance (SLAs, costs and quality).
Provide technical and analytical oversight of maintenance activities, identifying recurring issues and defining corrective and preventive actions.
Improve operational efficiency through process optimization, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Control maintenance costs and budgets, including supplier management and cost-efficiency actions.
Support the Implementations Team by assisting the current manager in planning and coordinating new property onboardings, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with maintenance standards.
Skills for the role
3–5+ years of experience in operations, maintenance or facilities management, ideally with previous experience managing maintenance or technical teams.
Higher education degree in Engineering or a related field (Civil Engineering is a strong plus).
Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting and operational decision-making.
Proven ability to optimize processes and manage costs, including budget control, supplier negotiation and performance tracking.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
