Join our Strategy & Performance Management team in Lisbon and play a key role in driving strategic growth, innovation, and governance for a leading international automotive company.

Your role:

As part of the newly established Global Business Services (GBS) organization, structured into three pillars – Operations, Global Process Ownership, and Strategy & Performance Management – you will play a key role in shaping the future of GBS. Based in Lisbon, you will support the strategic development and expansion of GBS services, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy & Performance Management in Munich.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously refine the GBS strategy, ensuring alignment and adherence across the organization.
  • Facilitate GBS board meetings and governance structures within your role as part of the PMO.
  • Conduct trend scouting to identify new opportunities for GBS service expansion within the company.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, build business cases to demonstrate the financial and strategic value of potential scope expansions.
  • Position and pitch GBS as the preferred partner in response to internal RfPs (request for proposal).
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement (CI) and the Digital Innovation team to transition strategic initiatives into actionable plans.
  • Create compelling presentation materials for senior executives, tailored to support strategic decision-making.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally within a Shared Services or GBS environment or Consultancy/Big4.
  • Proven experience in either business development or strategy within a multinational context.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end processes and service delivery model within a GBS environment are of advantage.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership.
  • Skilled in creating compelling presentation materials and confident in presenting to executive-level audiences.
