THE ROLE
As Indie Campers' Strategy & Business Development Specialist, you will be working as an internal strategy consultant, who will set the bar for the rhythm of the organization and ensure the delivery of key strategic projects.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives: Lead the formulation and execution of business strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
- Project management: Oversee and ensure timely delivery of key strategic projects, coordinating across various departments and teams.
- Market analysis and research: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on strategy and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Innovation and process improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation within the organization.
- Team coordination: Coordinate and mentor junior members of the strategy and business development team, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals and culture, and their professional development.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategy, business development, or management consulting.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in leading and mentoring teams; experience in coordinating junior team members.
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations
- Motivated by taking ownership of projects and driving them to successful completion.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Experience in the ecommerce and/or travel industry is a plus.
