We are in search of an Office Manager to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in managing office operations and providing executive support to our leadership team.

What you'll be doing

  • Establish an office environment that consistently welcomes our bloqstars and guests, ensuring that the physical office is a reflection of the dynamic spirit of our brand;

  • Handle reception-related duties, ensuring prompt responses to emails, effective management of phone calls, and overseeing both physical and digital deliveries;

  • Preparation of in-house and external events, handling day-to-day tasks such as managing coffee, preparing meeting rooms for clients, receiving deliveries, assisting with the preparation of digital events, dealing with electricians/technicians, addressing travel pack queries, managing the founders' calendars, etc.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all office-related day-to-day questions, guiding the team through any workspace-related queries, room bookings, and other meeting preparations;

  • Stay informed on Portuguese workplace regulations to guarantee our office practices remain compliant;

  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to guarantee the office is equipped and stocked with all necessary supplies and equipment;

  • Represent the brand as one of its faces, ensuring all interactions within the office follow our culture of positivity and friendliness.

What you'll bring to the table

  • Experience working as an Office Manager, ideally in a start-up environment;

  • Native proficiency in Portuguese with fluent English communication skills;

  • Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ensuring effective communication with all staff levels;

  • Proficiency in standard office software and adaptability to new tools (Google Suite, Slack, etc);

  • Willingness to commute within the city for specific needs, ensuring a proactive approach to challenges;

  • Positive attitude and an unwavering team spirit.
