We offer a comprehensive and expanding array of road trip possibilities: short-term RV rentals, long-term campervan subscriptions, and the possibility of buying one of our vehicles available for sale.

THE ROLE

As a Marketplace Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving Indie Campers' growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Your main responsibility will be acquiring new hosts, ensuring they are successfully onboarded, and managing ongoing relationships to maximize host engagement, retention, and performance. You will work closely with the Head of Account Management to ensure supply health, local language support, and responsiveness to host needs, all while contributing to meeting regional revenue targets.

This position is critical for maintaining high levels of host satisfaction, optimizing listings, and helping the company achieve its goals in one of the most strategic markets in the marketplace.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Identify, contact, and onboard new hosts in the DACH region, ensuring quality listings and active engagement.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with hosts to maximize their responsiveness, retention, and overall performance.

  • Provide guidance on pricing, calendar management, and performance optimization to increase bookings per listing.

  • Ensure that host listings remain competitive, active, and aligned with platform standards.

  • Track and analyze key acquisition and account performance metrics to enhance efficiency and results.

  • Deliver outstanding service and communication to hosts in both German and English.

  • Contribute to the growth of the marketplace by maintaining a healthy and satisfied host portfolio in the region.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or partner success within marketplaces, e-commerce, or travel-tech sectors.
  • Proven success in acquiring and managing B2C or B2B partnerships, particularly in the DACH region.

  • Native or fluent German speaker, with strong English proficiency (both written and spoken).

  • Strong commercial drive with experience managing pipelines and closing deals.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and performance reporting tools.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to act on KPIs and optimize processes.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Organized, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership of regional goals.
