Your Next Challenge

In the role of IT PMO Lead, you will elevate the strategic impact of the IT Project Management Office by driving continuous improvement in project governance and delivery excellence. Building on a strong foundation in policy development, performance monitoring, and resource management, you will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across project teams. You will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to strengthen alignment between project outcomes and organizational strategy, while leveraging data-driven insights to optimize portfolio performance and ensure sustainable value creation.

What You Will Be Doing

You will oversee the IT Project Management Office to ensure consistent and successful project delivery across the organization. This includes developing, implementing, and continuously improving project management policies, standards, and governance frameworks. You will monitor project and portfolio performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, provide guidance and coaching to project managers, and support the effective allocation of budget and resources. In addition, you will regularly report on PMO performance, risks, and insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.

What You Bring

You bring a Project Management Professional certification or an equivalent qualification, along with a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

You have at least three years of relevant experience in IT project or portfolio management and demonstrate strong emotional intelligence, clear and inclusive communication, and the ability to influence without formal authority.

You are comfortable making objective decisions, adapting to change, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders in complex environments.

Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English is required to succeed in this role.

Your core competencies include project and portfolio management, leadership and collaboration, change management, governance and compliance, data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and effective resource management.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process includes interviews with Talent Acquisition, a Human Resources Business Partner, the Chief Information Officer, and senior business leadership. Interviews may take place either via video call or face to face, depending on availability and preference.

Your Team and Location

You will join the team led by Khaled Hamraoui and be based in Lisbon, working in a hybrid model with three days per week in the office.
