Product Marketing Manager role for a non-custodial crypto wallet

Our client is set to radically change the way we think about crypto wallets and trading on exchanges. This well-funded startup is making waves in the crypto world with its intuitive, user-friendly crypto wallet. Having already secured strong media partnerships with top crypto news sites (CoinTelegraph, Coindesk, and CryptoNews.com) and strategic alliances with trending projects, they are set to drive rapid user growth.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Product Marketing Manager, who will be the crucial link between our product, design, and marketing teams, ensuring that our product strategy is data-driven, market-informed, and user-focused. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conducting market research is your bread and butter. You will keep your finger on the pulse of the crypto industry to understand where its going and why. Further, you will map out competitors, their feature sets, marketing approach, what they’re releasing in their roadmap, why, how it performs and is received with their user base, who is their user base etc. You are the eyes and ears of the team to prevent us from developing product strategy in a vacuum. Collating this, you will provide insights and data-driven recommendations to influence the product roadmap.
  • Product Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO, Product and UX team to define functional requirements and shape product features that resonate with users.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business and product to provide business requirements definition, product and design for design briefs, design and business teams to communicate the finished product. You will ensure seamless communication and understanding of non-technical elements.
  • Marketing Support: Develop briefs for the marketing team, enabling them to create compelling and effective content that will be used in CRM campaigns, partnership content packs, blog posts, PR articles, knowledge base guides, and social posts.

  • Proven experience in product marketing, preferably within a tech or startup environment.
  • Strong business acumen and a curious mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • quickly, with a passion for understanding new technologies and market dynamics.

  • Knowledge of the crypto industry is a big plus but not required if you are willing to learn.
