Head of Social role for a Crypto Poker Platform

Our client, a leading poker platform, is looking for a Head of Social to be responsible for driving growth, engagement and user acquisition across various social media platforms.

 

The Opportunity

As the Head of Social, you will play a crucial role in growing and optimising the crypto poker community. This role focuses on driving brand awareness, growing the community and increasing engagement across all social platforms. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, ideally suited to a leader passionate about poker and crypto.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall strategy and execution of social media content, ensuring they are in line with the brand’s tone of voice.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our visibility, engagement and user acquisition.

  • Lead and own the creation of a social media calendar on various channels (Twitter, Discord, Instagram).

  • Manage social executives responsible for community management and moderation.

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual assets are on brand.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Content, and Design on campaigns and wider strategy.

  • Collaborate with regional managers to ensure brand consistency across multiple geos.

  • Utilise analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Meltwater, Myaffiliates, and twitter analytics to produce reports and optimise campaign performance.

  • Onboard new and work with existing ambassadors and partners to maximise the partnership agreements.

  • Liaise with 3rd party agencies on campaigns, sponsorships and partnerships.


Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in crypto: Candidates with previous social media experience within the crypto space are highly desired.

  • Poker experience: Previous experience working at a poker platform is preferred.


Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a senior Social Media management role.

  • Strong understanding of poker and online poker.

  • Strong communication, creativity and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field.
