Igloo Creative House, a Magic Media company, is a creative agency and animation studio that specializes in creating promotional videos and in-game animations for a wide range of clients. Igloo Creative House is looking for a highly skilled Creative Art Director to join the team and artistically lead projects of various purposes, techniques, and disciplines. The candidate we are looking for should have a strong artistic vision and the ability to lead a team to execute that vision.

As a Creative Art Director at Igloo Creative House, you’ll be the arrowhead for the Creative and artistic vision of the various projects. You'll meet with clients, understand their needs and messages, and work closely with a team of designers and animators in order to crack briefs and scripts and turn them into amazing content. The successful candidate must understand emerging trends and technologies within the industry and make strategic recommendations as to how they may benefit and/or impact the studio.

What will you do

  • Collecting briefs from clients and developing creative ideas, copy, and storyboards to convey client messages.
  • Take artistic ownership of the studio’s projects and work closely with the team, guiding & mentor them through the creative vision.
  • Be the client’s Point of Contact for all things artistic and creative.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization, design direction, and development of our projects.
  • Closely monitor and assure the artistic quality for projects of different disciplines - From product videos and social media content to web design elements and UX/UI.
  • Work on multiple projects in a team-oriented environment.
  • Help assess new projects’ scopes and budgets.
  • Maintain excellent communication both internally with the team and externally with our clients.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading creative projects from brainstorming to the final product.
  • A proven experience with managing artistic teams, mentoring, and providing professional feedback.
  • Strong proven visual skills - Solid understanding of color, composition, typography, and graphic styles
  • Advanced level knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects
  • Extensive knowledge of visual trends and references in various styles and techniques.
  • Highly organized multitasker - capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Positive and ego-free attitude, with a willingness to be hands-on when needed.
  • Proven track record of delivering clear and consistent visual feedback.
  • Strong leadership, people, and mentoring skills with demonstrated experience in teaching technical and traditional art processes
  • Organized, self-motivated, dedicated, hard-working, with a strong sense of professionalism and composure while working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with a large amount of ambiguity and adapt easily to change
  • Manage multiple tasks and projects, switching focus and priorities to respond to business needs as needed
  • A desire to innovate and to go above and beyond in pursuit of excellence
  • Hunger for problem-solving and motivating others to deliver exceptional work
  • Fluent English - Verbal and written.
  • Experience with 3D production - Advantage
