THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented and motivated Revenue Science Lead to drive a fundamental shift to machine learning in Revenue Management at Indie Campers. You will be managing a team of data scientists and deploying advanced models to solve complex problems, delivering direct and tangible value to our travellers.

At Indie we have a multitude of interesting opportunities to solve with scalable products and algorithmic solutions, more specifically you will be exposed to our dynamic Pricing, Stock relocation, Predictive modelling, Causal Inference and Experimentation efforts.

Your Mission

Lead a team of high-performing data scientists, foster a culture of excellence, and stay at the forefront of ML and Applied science practices in Revenue Management Act as a leader but also be an individual contributor in deploying algorithmic solutions to solve our most important business problem in our key growth area. Collaborate with stakeholders such as product and engineering across the organisation to integrate and implement the machine learning solutions. Foster a collaborative and open environment within the team to ensure ideas can be shared and heard.

Your Mastery

Proven experience as a leader and researcher in data and product heavy organisations Strong track record of leading applied science and product development cycles. In-depth knowledge of ML, Causality, Bayesian inference and Predictive Modelling. 5+ years of experience in data science or research with leadership capabilities Expertise with the Python data toolkit including Tensorflow, TFX, Pandas, CatBoost, DBT as well as MLOps practices Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience in scaling technology teams fast and with high quality. Master's degree or PHD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related quantitative fields

This is a hybrid role in our Lisbon HQ.
