We are transforming our HR function at Convatec and are now looking for great people to fill our newly created roles as part of our international HR Service Delivery Team, based in Lisbon.

The role of Regional Lead for Talent Acquisition is a fantastic opportunity to join us at the start of this journey as we continue our ambition to finding and selecting the best talents to join Convatec, across multiple geographies and functions.

It will also give you the opportunity to help to shape and optimize the talent acquisition services.

Job Summary


The role of Regional Lead for Talent Acquisition has been created to manage, support and deliver our talent acquisition services for entry to junior manager roles across Europe.

This role offers great development and the opportunity to support the build of tomorrow's Convatec.


You will report to the Shared Services Talent Acquisition Lead, and your primary job location will be working from home, with 1 day/week in our Lisbon office.


You will be part of a strong and dedicated HR community as well as the global talent acquisition team, helping Convatec to build an inclusive culture, finding the best diverse talent for our key vacancies.


As part of your role, key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting service delivery with and through a team of 7 working in Talent Acquisition Partners (4 junior members and 3 more experienced)
  • Line management of the junior team members and dotted line responsibility for the more experienced
  • Allocating and managing workloads across the Europe Talent Acquisition team
  • Ensuring relevant data is captured on KPIs for talent acquisition and pulling together weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the Europe region
  • Managing any escalations from the team linked to hardtofill roles or business critical recruitment projects across Europe
  • Leading the recruitment briefing calls for new vacancies
  • Advising on the sourcing strategy to fill new vacancies
  • Advising on shortlisting process
  • Allocating roles to the junior talent acquisition team where appropriate
  • Coordinating the selection process from interviews and assessments to feedback
  • Talent pooling to create pipelines for key future vacancies
  • Ensuring our Convatec brand is lived and breathed at every recruitment touchpoint

Other opportunities in this role include:

  • Shaping the build of our new talent acquisition team and processes as part of a shared service including optimisations to continuously improve our offering
  • Supporting Talent Acquisition escalated queries and requests as they arise, finding solutions where needed
  • Ensuring we do what's right in terms of local market legislation throughout the talent acquisition process
  • Capturing, inputting relevant data and managing the talent acquisition reporting for Europe, to showcase our quality, cost and time to hire KPIs
  • Along with the wider HR team, driving the ongoing development and improvement of our knowledge bases to support the development of shared services.

We will be providing a 4-week induction and training period to engage you in everything that Convatec represents for our patients, customers and employees and to upskill you in all the tools and systems you will leverage to be successful in this role.
