Key accountabilities

As Markets Senior Analyst you are responsible for managing the team in the day to day operations.

Maintaining a fair and orderly market on all the relevant asset classes within the scope of the Markets Derivatives team.

Manage EMS projects as contributor or lead and managing the test platform including the quality checks before deliveries are implemented in the production environment.


Within Operations:
Take responsibility and accountability for EMS markets activities.

Coaching, working with the team to ensure a fair and orderly market. Preventing and detecting market abuse behavior. Handle sensitive requests and issues.

  • Mentor team members. Identify gaps, and conduct training on the job. Support in the development of team members in order to build a highly skilled department. Assisting and structuring other roles within the team in terms of successor identification. Helps the team to deal with change.
  • Develop and execute initiatives designed to optimize operations team efficiency and productivity. Continuously improve processes and tools following a riskbased approach.
  • Prepare the future, leading or contributing to the delivery of key projects
  • Ensure operational relevance and feasibility of projects: provide expert feedbacks, assess impacts, escalate risks, confirm operational readiness
  • Propose innovative solutions to reach operational excellence
  • Conduct and enable regular workflows and performance reviews, resource planning, Set, track and support the team in achieving the set KPIs and milestones.
Manage incidents and crisis together with team members and the management team, including definition and follow-up of corrective actions. Is able to lead the Serious Incident Process call and act as a decision maker during the incident. Filters information according to relevancy. Provides guidance and focus to the team and will prioritize actions.

Represents EMS Markets Derivatives across locations or outside of Euronext including, clients, Partners and Regulators.

Within in projects:

  • Act as Project Manager or Product Owner within EMS, writing requirements for needed developments based on the needs of the different stakeholders
  • Leading the project from start to end, from collaborating in the design of the solution to user acceptance testing
  • Supervision of the project team, including resource allocation, Planning and high quality deliverables.
  • Main point contact for all stakeholders.
  • Escalates urgent topics or identified risks. Is able to arbitrate between priorities
  • Follow up of EUA and Production incidents
  • Organizes and coordinate between teams the dress rehearsals
