We're now looking for a HR Business Partner to join the People Operations team in Web Summit, based in Lisbon.
What you will do:
- You'll collaborate with & coach our people managers, both in our Portuguese & international operations, on HR initiatives, services, processes & policies, while communicating, planning & implementing these effectively.
- You'll review & update the HR policies & procedures in line with EU & Portuguese legislative requirements, including employment contracts & the employee handbook, seeking to continuously improve our employee relation initiatives with the Company's objectives in mind.
- You'll provide guidance & training on the use of important internal systems such as BambooHR, 15Five & OfficeVibe, coaching our new people managers on the implementation & monitoring of performance management initiatives.
- You'll provide HR advice to employees supporting internal relations and promptly responding to requests for support.
- You'll manage the monthly payroll cycle for both direct and contractor employees in conjunction with the Finance team
- You'll manage & support the quarterly performance review process with the senior leadership team
- You'll manage the Maternity & Paternity Leave process providing support to employees & their managers throughout
- You'll ensure all HR systems & tools are up to date with relevant employee information
- You'll act as the People Operations team representative in our Lisbon office, supporting workplace experience initiatives that increase the inperson networking and collaboration of our team in our new offices in Factory, Beato
Skills and abilities we're looking for:
- You've a minimum of 4 years experience as a HR representative in a growing organisation, with an international presence. Startup experience is a big plus.
- You've a minimum of a Certificate in Portuguese employment law and/or Human Resources
- You enjoy creating & driving people operation initiatives that enhance the internal communication, culture & collaboration of employees
- You've a businesslevel competency in communicating in both written & spoken Portuguese & English
- You're open to working in a hybrid working environment
