Job Summary

We are now looking for a Sales Engineer, reporting to Key Components Sales Manager, who will ensure sustainable and profitable growth with the Tetra Pak's Sales business for our customers in Iberia. Responsible for Key Components sales tasks and support to sell Tetra Pak product portfolio, by having a deep understanding of the customer needs and provide technical expertise for local solutions.

It can require regular customer visits, travelling within Iberia Market Company geography around 70% of the time, both in Spain and Portugal.

This is a permanent role, located either in Lisbon (Portugal) or Arganda del Rey (Spain).

What you will do
  • Maintain close contact with the customers and identify & define customer needs for the Tetra Pak product portfolio of Key Components.
  • Prepare proposals to the customers by creating detailed costing, quotes and related documents.
  • Secure orders, arrange delivery dates and other matters to facilitate sales.
  • Participate in opportunity management, create solution, cross selling and up selling and fact-based value proposal, negotiate and close deals.
  • Be proactive on prospecting new potential customers/opportunities.
  • Work with Processing Services team to identify existing installed base opportunities, potential customers and to co-ordinate customer contacts.
  • Ability to cross borders collaboration on issue resolution.
  • Participate in creation, implementation and follow up sales in collaboration with the Sales Teams.
  • Identify portfolio needs, including requirement for new product development.
  • Travel to meet the job requirements and objectives.
We believe you have
  • University Degree in engineering.
  • Sales experience, preferably in liquid food industry, flow equipment business and/or machinery business.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering and/or field service experience in dairy, beverage, food industries.
  • Prior Experience with Separators, Homogenizers, Heat Exchangers, Freezers and High Shear Mixers
  • Prior experience in dealing with channels / dealers / distributors / integrators will be valued.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative and cross-team capacity with internal stakeholders
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese & English, both verbal and written
