With a strong presence in European markets and a growing footprint in the Middle East, our client is dedicated to helping farmers maximize productivity and crop quality through innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions.We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our client's market presence in Europe and the Middle East.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
This role requires a deep understanding of the agri-business landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to market development.Key Responsibilities:1.
Market Expansion:1.
Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share in Europe and the Middle East.2.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, retailers, and growers.3.
Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.4.
Drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding revenue targets.5.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supply agreements with key stakeholders.6.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and relationship management.2.
Strategic Partnerships:1.
Build strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and business partners.2.
Collaborate with internal teams, including production, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.3.
Represent our client at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.4.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights.5.
Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.6.
Identify potential challenges and recommend solutions to optimize business operations.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, International Trade, or a related field.5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial management within the agricultural sector (preferably with horticulture, fresh produce, or seed companies).Proven track record of expanding market reach and driving revenue growth in international markets, particularly in the Middle East and Europe.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with agricultural supply chains, B2B sales, and distribution models.Ability to work independently and travel frequently across target regions.Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages (such as Arabic, Portuguese, or French) is a plus.What We Offer:A dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment with opportunities for career growth
