Compensation & Benefits Officer is responsible for administering all compensation and benefits transactional matters; liaises with external and internal stakeholders in that area and is responsible for HR reporting in that and related areas.
The post incumbent acts as a back-up for preparing and submitting all variables for the preparation of the payroll for the SBM entities based in Portugal.
RESPONSIBILITES & MAIN TASKS
Act as focal point for all absence registration and reporting;
Act as focal point for pension administration and reporting;
Act as focal point for insurance administration and reporting;
Prepare monthly and quarterly provisions;
Request payroll and C&B related purchase orders;
Monitor payment of related invoices;
Maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in this area;
Actively engage in process developments in the C&B area;
Prepare HeadCount reporting;
Timely deal with related service tickets;
Liaise with counterparts globally;
Support payroll colleagues;
Stay up to date on any labour or fiscal legislative changes and pro-actively use this information;
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar position;
Proven knowledge on compensation and benefits processes;
Good level in Excel;
Good knowledge of Portuguese labor and tax law;
Team player, flexible, service oriented;
Analytical minded.
