Offer Description It is hereby announced that, by order of the President of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (IPSantarém) of 22 June 2023, a call for applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the area of Portuguese Language and Linguistics is open for a period of 30 working days from the publication of this notice in the Official Gazette .
Candidates who meet the conditions set out in Article 17 of the ECPDESP may apply for this tender: those who hold a doctorate or specialist degree in the field of Portuguese Language and Linguistics or a related field, with a special focus on the relationship between this field and special and inclusive education.
Specific Requirements Candidates with foreign qualifications must provide proof of recognition, equivalence or registration of the respective degree under the terms of the applicable legislation.
Eligibility Criteria In the event of a tie, the jury will consider the following successive tie-breaking criteria:
Best score obtained in the Technical-Scientific and Professional Dimension (TSPD);
Best score obtained in the Pedagogical Dimension (PD);
Best score obtained in Other Relevant Activities (ORA).
Selection Process The assessment method to be used is curriculum weighting, which aims to assess the Technical-Scientific and Professional Dimension, the Pedagogical Dimension and the exercise of Other Relevant Activities in the area in which the tender is open, with the following maximum scores being awarded:
Technical-Scientific and Professional Dimension (TSPD): maximum 40 points;
Pedagogical Dimension (PD): maximum 40 points;
Other Relevant Activities (ORA): maximum 20 points.
