**THE OPPORTUNITY**:
Are you a natural for strategic key account management and a talent for anticipating the market dynamics and ready to take the next step in your career within the Healthcare industry?

Join our team as the next Key Account Manager for the Pet veterinary business in our Animal Health team in Portugal You will work with high performing products and a strong product pipeline in a rapidly developing market where you can have a big impact on the company results.

This position is hybrid role: partially based in our Lisbon office and you are also visiting the Key Customers.

**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for achieving the sales budget: from designing a sales plan from scratch to the implementation and executing successful negotiation strategies.
- Develop customer and channel specific sales strategies by leveraging knowledge of all customer sales channels, strategic key accounts and co-promotion partners to add market and brand value.
- Respond to the needs of your customers, especially the strategic key accounts, in a timely and professional manner to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Provide high level analysis of potential business opportunities utilizing insights from market research, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and understanding of therapeutic areas for brand area.
- Initiate projects and programs that produce favorable bottom-line results while planning robust sales and product supply forecasts.
- Regular coordination with the customer experience team and the corporate key account team.

**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM**:

- Master’s degree required, a Veterinary Degree is considered a plus.
- At least 5 years of successful Key Account Management experience.
- Experience in animal health is a must.
- Excellent command of both the English and Portuguese language.
- Having a drivers license and ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated organization, planning & project management skills along with solid decision making & negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate and gain buy in from stakeholders to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment.
- Eligible to work in Portugal.
