Are you passionate about animals and ready to take the next step in your career within the Healthcare industry? Join our team as the next Sales Manager & Key Account for our Pet veterinary business in the Animal Health team in Portugal
As a natural for sales and strategic key account management, you will be responsible for achieving the sales budget, from designing a sales plan from scratch to the implementation and putting in practice successful negotiation strategies. In parallel, you are leading the sales team by coaching, fostering collaboration, and supporting them to achieve a strong focus on customer centricity and key account management.
**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Lead, coach, develop, motivate and evaluate team members to ensure optimal individual/team performance.
- Develop customer/channel specific sales strategies by leveraging knowledge of all customer sales channels, strategic key accounts and co-promotion partners to add market and brand value.
- Respond to the needs of the customers, especially the strategic key accounts, in a timely and professional manner to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Provide high level analysis of potential business opportunities utilizing insights from market research, industry trends, competitive intelligence, and understanding of therapeutic areas for brand area.
- To initiate projects/programs that produce favorable bottom line results while planning robust sales and product supply forecasts.
**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM**:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master in Science is considered a plus.
- At least 5 years successful management experience.
- Experience in animal health is a must.
- At least 5 years of successful Key Account Management experience.
- Excellent command of the English language and native Portuguese.
- In possession of a valid drivers license and ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
- Exhibit strong written & verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to develop stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated organization, planning & project management skills along with solid decision making & negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and gain buy in from stakeholders to deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.
- Ability to work in a regulated environment. Eligible to work in Portugal (valid European Residence permit).
