**Role Summary**
Ability to manage small project works independently as well as operating as part of a larger international team for more complex projects.
**Technical skillset**
Multi skilled onsite support technician providing support for Reading’s office and home-based end-users.
- Windows device (laptop and desktop) build and support
- Multi-function print and scan devices
- Software installation and validation
- Application support including troubleshooting with users
- Workload and ITSM system management and reporting
- Simple maintenance tasks for a range of hardware devices
- Able to clearly document activities in a regulated environment
- End to end inventory management
**Responsibilities**:
- Respond in a timely manner to incident tickets for specific location
- Build and configure devices for new joiners, recover devices from leavers
- Installation, configuration, upgrading software and related products
- Participate in small project works as required
- Participate in Major Incident/Problem/Change assessment and resolution
Person Profile
- Ability to work equally well as part of a team or individually and manage own workload
- Experience working with internal and external customers, technical experts and professional staff
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience configuring network devices
- Excellent documentation skills
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines
- Proactive and able to work with little supervision
- A flexible approach to work.
