We are looking for a competent Help desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on technical issues and offer advice to solve them. An excellent Help desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be solution-oriented and patient to deal with difficult situations. The goal is to deal with the company’s technical issues in a fast and reliable manner.

**Location**: Camarate, near Lisbon Airport

**Work schedule**:
Monday - Friday, 8h/day (+ 1h lunch break), 09:00-18:00.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
- Perform remote troubleshooting.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
- Document events and problems and their resolution
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
- Placing orders for all the IT equipment necessary
- Maintain the inventory of IT equipment
- Ship the equipment via couriers

**You are a for this job if**:

- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other tech support role;
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation, databases, and remote control;
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products;
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues;
- Proficiency in English;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Solution-oriented and cool-tempered;
- Organized and the ability to make order in chaotic situations;
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field is an advantage.
