**What role will you play?**
- You will lead and manage in full responsibility our Accounting and Closing services for legal entities mainly in Europe (internal Siemens and external customers) and contribute to the overall GBS strategy, vision and target achievement.
- Your team consists of around 100 highly skilled and specialized accountants currently structured in 5 teams. Functionally & disciplinary leadership is part of the function.
- You are senior in accounting and financial functions. IFRS accounting standards and their implementation in the corresponding ERP environment are part of your daily work. Local GAAP transition is a known topic for you.
- People Development is key in a fast-developing environment. Assuring adequate training on domain know how, methodologies, digitalization amd people management is a key topic to ensure adequate skilled workforce and people engagement.
- Operations and Service Delivery: You manage and mitigate any risks in service delivery or projects adequately and assure quality according to contracts and customer agreements. Change management and continuous improvement is a core activity in your day to day in order to optimize processes and to increase efficiency.
- You are financially responsible for Budget, Profit and Productivity of your business. As part of that you prepare Budget / Forecast / Productivity measures and Business Cases for new services in close cooperation with our controlling partner and assure target achievement and customer alignment.
- Our customer interface is crucial to develop further our business. As such you will be part of corresponding account management initiatives, support account manager and take eventually also responsibility for a customer account.
- You will be embedded in an cross functional structure within the GBS delivery center and internationally interact with global peers and GBS service lines in different aspects. A clear communication towards all stakeholders is crucial for your success.
- You are curious Your SAP ERP know how, your affinity to IT, digitalization and automation helps you to drive forward our strategy and platform development based on state-of-the-art technologies together with internal and external technology providers.

**We are looking for**:

- Have successfully completed an university degree in Business, Finance, or similar field.
- Have more than 10 years of professional experience in IFRS based international Accounting and / or Financial service management.
- Furthermore, you have a track record in leading one or professional teams and proven experience in international Project Management. You enjoy people development, regular training, change and knowledge management.
- Skills in influencing and managing an eco-system and a good knowledge in the Siemens support function processes are a prerequisite, knowledge in operative Siemens business is of advantage.
- You are characterized by curiosity and a high IT affinity. You have a track record in innovation, digitalization, and process improvement projects.
- You are characterized by structural thinking and working, strength in implementation-, solution
- and result-orientation connected with the ability to motivate people and the whole team.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbally, round off your profile. Fluency in any other language is a plus.
