We are seeking an individual who will play a critical role in the ongoing success of our Oncology business in Portugal. As the Franchise Lead, you will be responsible for identifying brand growth opportunities, setting portfolio priorities, and developing business plans for multiple indications in our oncology portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Franchise Lead, you will be an integral part of our Oncology BU leadership team and will be responsible for achieving financial and strategic objectives for our product portfolio. Your primary activities will include, but are not limited to:

- ** Market Understanding**: Analyze the local market and identify commercial opportunities based on market research and customer insights.
- ** Strategy Development**: Participate in cross-functional brand meetings and translate the global product strategy into local priorities and an integrated business plan.
- ** Project & Event Management**: Implement and track (digital) campaigns and initiatives directed at internal and external stakeholders, such as healthcare professionals, sales teams, and patients.
- ** Sales Teams Support**: Ensure sales teams understand the strategic imperatives and provide them with necessary training, tools, and materials.
- ** Customer Focus**: Conduct field visits, collect feedback on current programs, gain customer insights, and participate in national, regional, or local congresses and events.
- ** Financial Acumen**: Forecast and track product sales and expenses in alignment with the BU and finance department.
- ** Cost Management**: Allocate resources, manage budgets, track progress, and adjust activities accordingly.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Ensure alignment with various departments such as Medical, Regulatory, Market Access and Policy, Finance, and demand planning. Participate in or lead cross-functional workstreams.
- ** Leadership**: Coach and guide the team to ensure successful implementation of projects and activities defined in the integrated business plan.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: University degree in business or life sciences from an accredited university. An MBA or post-graduation is an advantage.
- ** Skills**: High level of analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills in both Portuguese and English, outstanding negotiation skills, experience in sales, marketing, market access, and/or account management in the healthcare industry (international experience is a plus), substantial experience in commercial launches in oncology (minimum: 3 years), good understanding of the Portuguese healthcare system, excellent budget management competency, cross-functional collaboration skills, proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, as well as other project management and digital effectiveness tools.
