The Commercial Excellence Programs Manager will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing sales effectiveness and enhancing the performance of commercial teams within the Southern Europe Marketing, Sales and Communications (MSC) department in Siemens Healthineers.

This role will focus on the implementation of innovative solutions such as Hybrid Selling, the design and rollout of training programs for sales teams, the development of Sales Compensation Plans, the adoption of digital tools for managing commercial activities, the creation of Pricing Excellence initiatives, and the development of new partnership models with top customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, coordinating multidisciplinary and international teams, and innovating existing sales processes with the adoption of cutting-edge digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the development of Commercial Excellence existing key initiatives such as:

1. Hybrid Selling Implementation:

Design and implement Hybrid Selling strategies to integrate both digital and traditional sales channels, optimizing the interaction between the sales team and customers.

Manage the deployment of digital tools that enhance the sales process, ensuring seamless coordination between offline and online sales activities.

Measure the success of Hybrid Selling initiatives and recommend continuous improvements to enhance customer engagement and sales outcomes.

2. Sales Force Training and Development:

Contribute to the development and lead the implementation of comprehensive training programs tailored to the sales force, focusing on advanced sales techniques, customer management, digital tools, and the latest trends in healthcare technology.

Coordinate training initiatives to continuously improve the commercial team's skills, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.

Introduce innovative learning approaches, leveraging digital platforms and gamified content to increase engagement and learning effectiveness.

3. Sales Compensation Plan Design and Implementation:

Design and implement Sales Compensation Plans to align incentives with company goals and drive high performance among the sales force.

Continuously analyze and refine compensation models to ensure they are competitive and motivating for the team, with a focus on driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with HR and finance teams to integrate compensation strategies with broader company objectives and budgeting processes.

4. Digital Tools for Commercial Activities:

Lead the implementation of digital solutions to streamline and optimize commercial activities, including CRM systems, sales automation tools, and data analytics platforms.

Oversee the adoption and integration of digital technologies to enhance sales forecasting, pipeline management, customer relationship management, and overall sales operations.

Stay updated on the latest trends in digital transformation and innovation in the healthcare sector, ensuring that the company leverages the most effective technologies.

5. Pricing Excellence Initiatives:

Develop and implement Pricing Excellence initiatives to optimize pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Collaborate with product management, marketing, and finance teams to create pricing models based on market conditions, customer segmentation, and value-based pricing approaches.

Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies to identify opportunities for pricing adjustments and improvements.

Support the Commercial Excellence Head in the continuous development of the long-term strategic plan, aligning with SEU priorities and overarching business strategies. A key part of the role will be driving the innovation of the Commercial Excellence plan by developing and implementing forward-thinking programs that leverage cutting-edge methodologies and advanced digital tools. The focus will be on incorporating digital solutions that streamline processes, enhance decision-making, and foster greater efficiency across the commercial landscape.

Contribution will be expected in the development of innovative thinking initiatives for Partnership relationship enhancement with Key Customers. A particular focus will be placed on co-creation—developing collaborative tools, methodologies, and frameworks that allow customers to actively participate in the creation and optimization of value partnership content with SHS. By involving customers in the process, this will ensure that the solutions not only meet their specific needs but also foster a deeper sense of ownership and commitment to the partnership and create new business opportunities.

Requirements:

- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial management roles within environments, preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment sector.
- Proven expertise in Project and Program Management, with a strong ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Hybrid Selling, Sales Compensation, Digital Transformation, Pricing Excellence, and Customer Relationship Management.
- Experience in leading and coordinating multidisciplinary and international teams, driving innovation, and implementing cutting-edge sales solutions.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to innovate and transform sales processes and adopt new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in medical imaging equipment or similar environments.
- Familiarity with digital sales platforms, CRM systems, and sales automation tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing customer engagement strategies and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Leadership and ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
