At Dellent Consulting, we are currently seeking an experienced Data Protection and Recovery Engineer to join our team in Porto. This role will focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our backup infrastructure.
About the Role
- We are looking for someone with between 3 to 6 years of experience in the field;
- A strong understanding of backup and archiving concepts and technologies is essential;
- Experience working with backup tools such as Rubrik, Spectrum Protect (ex TSM) and robotics is highly valued;
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Shell and Python is required;
- Knowledge of deployment tools including GIT, Jenkins, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Openshift, and Docker is beneficial;
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux RedHat OS is mandatory, with AIX knowledge being a plus;
- Understanding of scheduling tools VTOM and Control-M is also desired;
- Fluency in English and French is necessary for effective communication.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary ranging from €55,000 to €80,000 per annum, depending on experience;
- A personalized training plan, with a budget allocated for courses and technical books;
