Sofitel Shahd Al-Madinah, a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Madinah, is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join their team. This role will be responsible for coordinating events and ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion.
Job Summary
The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to plan and execute events, including conferences, weddings, and corporate meetings. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As an Event Coordinator at Sofitel Shahd Al-Madinah, you will:
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual equipment rental;
- Work with vendors to ensure high-quality service and timely delivery;
- Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and communication plans;
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities;
- Assist with event setup, registration, and coordination on the day of the event.
Requirements
To be successful as an Event Coordinator, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in hospitality, event management, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of experience in event coordination, preferably in a 5-star hotel setting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Familiarity with event planning software and tools.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of SR 6,000 - SR 8,000 per month, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
