The Role
As a Business Development Specialist for our DACH region, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our marketplace by acquiring new listings, managing host relationships, and ensuring high levels of host satisfaction. Your role will involve analyzing data, managing accounts, and implementing strategies to reduce churn rate. You will report directly to the Marketplace Senior Manager and work from our central HQ, collaborating closely with the Growth, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new listings in the region, driving marketplace growth.
• Manage relationships with hosts to ensure high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
• Implement strategies to reduce churn rate and retain hosts on the platform.
• Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
• Provide exceptional support to hosts, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Track and report on key performance indicators related to net new listings, churn rate, and host satisfaction.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in account management, business development, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of acquisition and account management strategies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in account management and CRM tools is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
