What We Offer

We are seeking a motivated Chief Financial Project Coordinator for national and international projects who will provide support to our Operations Unit by implementing and monitoring financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), aligning with Vortex values and objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or a related field;
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial management of projects associated with National and/or European Funding Programs (e.g., PRR, PT2030, Horizon Europe);
  • Knowledge of financial operations and regulations of National and European Funding Programs;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexible and able to learn quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Experience with management tools (e.g., MS Office);
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Job Responsibilities

As a Chief Financial Project Coordinator for national and international projects at VORTEX-CoLab, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of researchers, engineers, designers, and product managers to support initiatives that will shape the next generation of embedded and real-time systems.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Monitoring and controlling the financial execution of projects within the scope of National and European Funding Programs;
  • Preparing and submitting payment requests to funding entities;
  • Supporting the development of internal Financial Control procedures for projects;
  • Assessing the financial feasibility of projects;
  • Assisting in preparing applications for incentives within National and European Funding Programs;
  • Liaising with funding entities.
