About the RoleThe Technical Systems Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complete systems by identifying defects as early as possible in the development lifecycle. This role involves defining and setting up test systems, executing tests, and automating system testing processes.
In this position, you'll collaborate within a cross-location Agile team to ensure smooth and effective testing practices while adhering to Agile principles. Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Defining, setting up, and maintaining test systems for evaluating the System Under Test (SysUT).
- Focusing on Q3 and Q4 tests as outlined in the Agile Testing Quadrants, covering system-level and non-functional testing.
- Designing and defining test cases, writing test scripts to validate specifications.
- Determining the appropriate balance between manual and automated tests and executing them efficiently.
- Conducting daily testing, exploratory testing, and release testing to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborating with developers, testers, and stakeholders across multiple locations to align on test strategies and outcomes.
- Analyzing and reporting test results, identifying and submitting defects for resolution.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to facilitate cross-location communication.
- The ability to set up, install, and maintain test systems independently.
- Expertise in writing black-box and GUI test cases.
- Familiarity with Gherkin scenarios (Behavior-Driven Testing).
- Skilled in creating and executing happy flows, alternative flows, and sad flows.
- Hands-on experience in both Functional Testing and Non-Functional Testing (e.g., scalability, reliability).
- Proficiency in automating tests using programming languages such as C#.
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at around €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy:
