Amgen Sa, the leading biotechnology company, is seeking an experienced Document Control Specialist to join our team at the Amgen Capability Center Portugal. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and data compilation skills, with experience in following processes and procedures vital to succeed. Proficiency in English and Italian, both written and verbal, is essential for this role. We also prefer candidates with knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry and proficiency in using MS Office tools and SAP.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $70,000 per annum, taking into account the cost of living in Lisbon and the level of experience required for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing day-to-day support across different functions to Amgen, including contract management, Purchase Order lifecycle management, Healthcare Professionals Contracting, and sponsorships/fees for service/donations/educational processes support. They will enforce the continuous improvement agenda of the ACCP and provide specific legal support including corporate administration and intercompany agreement management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing contract templates and creating contract repositories (non-legal)
  • Supporting the audit team with any requirements/information
  • Recognizing and escalating problems or risks, as and when they arise in line with business requirements
