About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Lisbon. As a key member of our kitchen department, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in planning, organizing, and directing the work of our culinary team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in our food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in planning, organizing, and directing the work of the culinary team.
  • Ensure exceptional quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts and recipes.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • College degree in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of previous experience in a culinary/food and beverage position, or at least one year in a supervisory or assistant manager position.
  • Strong knowledge of division operations and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in Portuguese and English.
