GBS Digital Solutions offers innovative technology solutions and customer-oriented digitalization services. We co-develop digital solutions to address our customers' business challenges, leveraging our modern technology layer and partner ecosystem.

We consult them with our holistic, 360° digital advisory service, encompassing the data-driven discovery of digitalization potential along their business processes.

About Your Mission

  • The overall accountability for defining the service, ensuring it meets business needs, and managing the service lifecycle.
  • Ensuring Service Quality within your area of responsibility on a day-to-day basis.
  • Making certain the implementation of services is aligned with agreed stakeholders.
  • Acting as the product owner for agile Service development.
  • Coordinating service development and implementation as a Product Owner (setting up User stories, testing of developments, support defect analysis).
  • Driving the rollout of respective services across GBS.
  • Continuous service improvements and enhancement.
  • Ensuring service quality (e.g., incident, problem, performance, capacity, or escalation management).
  • Contributing to the implementation of knowledge management standards by gathering, analyzing, sorting, and sharing relevant information.
  • Coordinating SLA/OLA creation, reviews, and updates.
  • Overseeing services or solution-related performance and delivery indicators.
  • Identifying and publishing service metrics.
  • Point of contact for the respective service or process.
  • Provisioning technical service expertise.
  • Contributes in PoCs, service transitions, service development activities, and projects.
  • Providing functional advice and training to operational staff (e.g., SD staff) or semi-professional colleagues.
  • Managing cross-service integration aspects of service (compatibilities, dependencies, ...)
  • Contributing and supporting planning, budgeting, design, and alignment of service management processes and GBS solutions landscapes.
  • Staying abreast of developments in industry regarding IT Technology & Services as well as Solution Management.

Your Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • At least 3 to 4 years of proven working experience as a Service manager in the information technology sector.
  • Knowledge on ITIL Service Management processes.
  • Knowledge on Service Orchestration aspects.
  • Knowledge on Agile Development.
  • Knowledge on Service Now.
  • Used to act in an international environment with virtual teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities needed to oversee complex integration aspects and dependencies.
  • Communication skills (Service Manager, Service Provider, BA, Developers).
  • CUSTOMER orientation.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Proficient in English is a must and basic German is considered a plus.
