French Insurance Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Insurance Specialist who is fluent in French to join our sales team in Lisbon. As an Insurance Specialist, you will play a key role in helping customers secure the protection they need, whether it's for their health, life, home, or other valued assets. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and achieving sales goals. We are looking for local candidates to join our team in Lisbon, as this is a hybrid role and does not include a relocation package.
This position does not require prior sales experience, but a passion for helping people and an interest in the insurance industry will be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities- Engage with French-speaking clients: Proactively reach out to new and existing clients via phone, email, or online channels, building trust and rapport through professional, empathetic communication.
- Understand customer needs: Listen to and assess each customer's unique requirements, identifying appropriate insurance solutions that best fit their personal or professional situation.
- Present tailored insurance solutions: Educate clients on various insurance products, offering clear, concise explanations of coverage options, benefits, and pricing.
- Sales and Conversions: Drive revenue by effectively converting client inquiries into confirmed insurance plans, meeting or exceeding set sales targets.
- Maintain updated records: Accurately document client interactions, maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, and manage the sales pipeline.
- Ongoing Customer Support: Be a reliable point of contact for clients, offering ongoing assistance, handling queries, and ensuring client satisfaction after the sale is completed.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Stay informed about the latest products, industry trends, and competitive offerings. Regularly participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Fluency in French: Native or near-native fluency in French is required, as the majority of interactions will be with French-speaking clients.
- English proficiency: Although helpful, English is not mandatory for this role, as the primary communication will be in French.
- Local Residency: Candidates must reside in the Lisbon area, as this is a hybrid role requiring some on-site presence. This position does not offer relocation assistance.
- Educational Background: A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales or customer service is beneficial but not essential. We are open to training individuals with a passion for client engagement and a commitment to learning.
- Customer-centric: Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to client needs.
- Goal-Oriented: Self-motivated and target-driven, with a desire to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Communication: Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication in French.
