Cosmetics and Personal Care Industry Professional: Senior Manager Position

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to fill the role of Global Technical Sales and Business Development Lead. This position will be responsible for driving technical sales and developing new services within the Cosmetics and Personal Care industry.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Cosmetics and/or Personal Care industry, with a strong background in business development, technical sales, and leadership. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications. The working model is hybrid, allowing for flexibility and remote work options. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
About the Role- Drive technical sales and develop new services within the Cosmetics and Personal Care industry
- Collaborate closely with SGS Market Affiliates to shape and implement business development strategies
- Establish and coordinate a global network of Cosmetics and Personal Care experts
- Organize technical audits, round robin testing, and other evaluation methods to assess laboratory capabilities
- Oversee the collection and continual updating of global Cosmetics and Personal Care laboratory service capabilities
- Support selected SGS Affiliates in developing their laboratory service offerings
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Cosmetics and/or Personal Care industry
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field; an advanced degree in business development or management is advantageous
- Demonstrated success in driving technical sales and developing new services
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and mobilize teams
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in other languages is a plus
