About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join our team. As a System Analyst, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users, responding to inquiries, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance and availability of IT systems, networks, and applications, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to business operations.
Additionally, you will develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to support end-users in utilizing IT systems effectively and efficiently, and provide training as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users, responding to inquiries, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support teams when necessary.
- System Monitoring: Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems, networks, and applications, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to business operations.
- User Training and Documentation: Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to support end-users in utilizing IT systems effectively and efficiently, and provide training as needed.
- Software and Hardware Management: Order computer equipment and software with suppliers, manage stocks, assemble, set up, and maintain computer systems (PCs and Servers), devices, peripherals, and software.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security policies and procedures, including user access controls, data encryption, and antivirus protection, to safeguard sensitive information and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains within the IT support function, and collaborate with other team members to implement enhancements.
Requirements:
- Academic Degree: Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any other equivalent/relevant field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the area or similar, preferably in the context of a tech company.
- Skills: Strong time management, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Hardware and Software Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Ability to monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and applications.
- Incident Management: Ability to manage and prioritize incoming service requests and incidents.
- User Training and Documentation: Ability to develop user guides, training materials, and documentation.
- Software and Hardware Management: Ability to order computer equipment and software, manage stocks, assemble, set up, and maintain computer systems (PCs and Servers), devices, peripherals, and software.
- Network Administration: Ability to administer local and external wired and wireless computer networks.
- Security Compliance: Ability to enforce security policies and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
