We are seeking a professional German-speaking customer support agent to join our team at an international bank in Porto, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a polite and professional manner, following agreed-upon procedures.
  • Handle incoming calls and effectively address each customer's issue.
  • Act as a liaison for private end customers and B2B clients.
  • Proactively offer and expand the product range to enhance the customer journey.
  • Maintain basic knowledge of products and services.
  • Perform thorough and accurate work, including appropriate account notes.
  • Participate in activities to improve customer satisfaction and company performance.
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in the call tracking database.
  • Answer customer inquiries by referring to published materials or more experienced staff.

Requirements:

  • Secondary education and preferably three to six months of relevant experience.
  • Polite and highly customer-oriented.
  • Good computer navigation skills and PC knowledge.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, including flexibility and adaptability to change quickly.
  • Tolerance for repetitive tasks in a fast-paced, high-productivity work environment.
  • Ability to work both as a team member and independently.
  • Demonstrating patience in all customer contact situations.
