JOB SUMMARY

The ideal candidate for this senior HR Shared Services leadership role will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR operational processes across various geographies, ensuring alignment with regional compliances and organizational policies. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with a proven track record of reliable delivery and continuous improvement in a shared service environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and Oversee HR Operational Processes: Ensure alignment with regional compliances and organizational policies, and provide strategic direction to the team.
  • Maintain Service Level KPIs and SLAs: Monitor and maintain service level KPIs and SLAs for all processes.
  • Team Productivity and Performance: Allocate work effectively to improve team productivity and ensure high efficiency, with mechanisms to measure performance metrics.
  • Data Management and Administration: Administer and maintain Workday data points to ensure 100% data accuracy and integrity.
  • Escalated Queries and Problem Solving: Manage and resolve escalated queries within defined timelines and organizational guidelines.
  • HR Process Harmonization and Optimization: Harmonize HR processes across business units/geographies and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Target Achievement and Performance Standards: Achieve targets and performance standards expected from the Shared Services organization.
  • Internal and External Audits: Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Future-Focused HR Shared Services Strategy: Develop a future-focused HR Shared Services strategy to evolve the HR shared services function.
  • Service Improvement Activities: Identify and implement service improvement activities using process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
  • Business Goals and Market Trends: Understand business goals and market trends to recommend and influence new approaches.
  • Represent Global HR Community: Represent GS Lisbon within the wider Global HR community.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development, or a related field, with a minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in a global and matrixed environment. They will have a track record of reliable delivery and continuous improvement in a shared service environment, with experience in managing and leading teams in an HR shared service environment that offers a wide range of services across the full employee lifecycle.

They will also have a strong understanding of HR compliance, administration, generalist activities, and management information (MI) reporting, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to juggle competing priorities. Experience with HR Management systems like Workday and Case Management software is a plus.
