Job Description

The Commercial Director plays a critical role in driving total revenue growth, encompassing group and transient rooms, as well as food and beverage sales. This includes developing and implementing yield management strategies, analyzing market trends, and creating data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the sales function, focusing on building long-term customer relationships and achieving property sales objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, including forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze competition, market trends, and customer needs to stay ahead of the curve and adapt business intelligence.
  • Manage advertising, public relations, and promotional activities in conjunction with corporate marketing departments.
  • Ensure optimal compliance with corporate focus audits and drive performance excellence within the Sales team.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in international leisure and local corporate sales.
  • Excellent knowledge of overall hotel business operations, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
  • Able to study, analyze, and interpret complex data to improve new practices or develop innovative approaches.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to train and develop team members, work effectively in a team environment, and take initiative.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
