At Testronic, we are seeking a highly skilled Localization Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about gaming and language testing to develop their skills and gain experience in the gaming industry.
About the Job
We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 per year, which may vary based on location. As a Localization Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality translations, tone, and cultural correctness of games across various platforms. Your expertise in German (C2 level) and English (C1 level) will be essential in this role. Additionally, your technical skills, including MS Office and Teams, will be utilized to create reports in Jira.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finding and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities.
- Checking game tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
- Creating reports in Jira.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have a strong passion for gaming and language testing. You will need:
- Perfect knowledge of German (C2 level).
- Very good level of English (C1 level).
- Good technical and MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Teams).
- Passionate about gaming and a curiosity for new titles (all types of games count).
- Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus.
