German Language Customer Support Specialist

Located in Portugal, we are currently seeking a German-speaking customer support specialist to join our team at Cross Border Talents.
We are offering a competitive salary of around €2,500-€3,000 per month, based on the current cost of living and industry standards in the region.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in German, with a strong background in customer service or related fields. Previous experience working in contact centers or sales roles is highly valued, particularly in the tourism or travel industries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat channels
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
• Process bookings and sales transactions efficiently, while assisting with troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Maintain attention to detail, multitasking effectively to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 08:00h - 18:00h
Saturday & Sunday: 08:00h - 17:00h
Occasionally, flexibility to work until 19:00h may be required
Requirements:
• Fluency in German (C2 level and above)
• Previous customer service experience in a contact center or similar environment
• Digital literacy and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in German
• Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail
• EU member state passport, valid residence permit for Portugal, or certificate of temporary protection for refugees (essential)
