About the Opportunity

We have an incredible opportunity for a Business Controller to join our SDO team in Lisbon. As a Business Controller – Business Operations, you will be responsible for enabling Business Operations and its Finance Business Partners to maximize their financial contribution to our company goals. Success is measured by increased financial predictability, forecast accuracy, and enhanced capability for our Business Operations team to improve financials year over year.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial, management reporting, and controlling activities. They will be responsible for communicating updates, issues, and problems related to the Financial and Business Controlling process to our Reporting & Analytics CoE Solution Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate updates, issues, and problems related to the Financial and Business Controlling process.
  • Support Group R&A in performing inventory accounting.
  • Conduct Financial and Business Controlling to explain deviations and identify root causes.
  • Analyze purchase price variance and purchase orders.
  • Monitor CAPEX and Fixed assets with Asset Accounting Team.
  • Provide insights into maintenance costs.
  • Prepare financial planning/rolling forecast in coordination with Finance Business Partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or MBA CMA or CPA.
  • Total relevant business controlling/FP&A experience of 3-5 years.
  • Strong understanding of financial, management reporting, and controlling activities.
  • Experience working with financial forecasting software and ERP systems.
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.
