Job Description

We are seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join our team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, business administration, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Senior Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand their business needs and provide People support and guidance.
  • Manage employee relations issues and provide effective solutions to enhance workplace harmony.
  • Provide expert People advice and assistance to employees and management on a full range of issues and practices, including salary benchmarking, overall compensation, Employee Relations and engagement activities.
  • Guide managers on compensation matters, including pay structure, benefits, and bonus schemes.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and supporting development plans.
  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Analyze People metrics and provide insights to improve People practices and business outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations for multiple European locations.
  • Coordinate a team of 5 Business Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of People best practices and labour laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
