Job Title: Sales and Business Development Representative
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join our team at Finastra. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in demand generation, working closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails, maintaining a log of activity within our engagement platform and CRM
- Identify client and prospect needs, suggesting appropriate products and services
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure suitable messaging is distributed to clients
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, competitors, and company products and services
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in the banking industry, either for a financial institution or technology vendor
- 0-2 years of inbound and/or outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience
- Strong perseverance and follow-up skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
