Sauce is a leading restaurant technology platform driving business growth through its Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology. We are serving the US local restaurant market, which amounts to 105 billion dollars. Based in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce empowers local establishments to reach their full potential by providing them with everything they need to connect directly with their customers. Our team comprises seasoned executives from tech, sales, marketing, product, and operations who pool together decades of restaurant tech experience to produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains. We are looking for a Recruiting Specialist with a proven track record of sourcing high-level talent across Europe. This role will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process for our Tech/R&D hiring in Europe, working closely with leaders to fill crucial roles while taking on light HR responsibilities to support broader People initiatives. Some roles outside Tech/R&D may be assigned. You will report directly to the Head of People at Sauce. The schedule for this position is flexible, Monday to Friday with standard local working hours.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Recruiting (80%): Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process for R&D, Product, and other roles, from defining job requirements to offer negotiations. Drive a seamless experience, aiming to reduce the time-to-fill by 20% across roles.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop sourcing strategies tailored to European talent markets, utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, specialized job boards, social media, and external partners. Build a talent pipeline with a 50% passive candidate engagement rate.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with Tech and R&D leaders, conducting regular hiring strategy sessions to forecast hiring needs.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a top-tier candidate experience by providing transparent communication, personalized feedback, and a structured interview process with a target satisfaction score above 90%.
  • Data-Driven Recruiting: Analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and interview-to-offer ratios, presenting monthly reports to the Head of People.
  • Pipeline Nurturing: Implement strategies to maintain relationships with high-potential candidates, ensuring Sauce has a pre-qualified pool ready for future openings.
  • Recruitment Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content showcasing Sauce's culture, diversity, and growth opportunities, driving an increase in quality inbound applications.

HR & People Support (20%):

  • Onboarding & Integration: Assist with refining onboarding programs, ensuring new hires achieve full productivity within their first 60 days. Coordinate with department leads to tailor onboarding to each role's requirements.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring accurate employee data and supporting reporting for workforce planning.
  • Employee Engagement: Collaborate on engagement strategies such as pulse surveys and in-market activities, aiming to increase employee satisfaction scores by 15%.
  • Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and assist with creating training initiatives, improving retention rates and fostering internal career growth.
  • Policy Implementation: Support the Head of People in implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws in the different European markets.

What You Bring:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Recruiting Specialist based in Europe, preferably in Portugal, Poland, or Romania, but open to other remote markets (Israel-based candidates welcome). The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3+ years experience in Recruiting, Sourcing, or People Ops (as an in-house recruiter, NO agency recruiters)
  • Proven success in building diverse talent pipelines and reducing time-to-fill for key positions.
  • HR Knowledge: Familiarity with HRIS (e.g., Rippling), ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever), and employee engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work autonomously, in alignment with Sauce's hiring goals.
  • Previous experience with various interviewing methods (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check etc).
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Fluent English proficiency and strong communication skills required.

What We Offer:

As a Recruiting Specialist at Sauce, you can expect:

  • A strong & competitive compensation package.
  • A flexible work environment.
  • A paid time off policy with local holidays.
  • A friendly environment where you can reach your full potential and grow your career.
  • Challenging tasks to help you evolve as a professional.
